Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cleanio mobile application (“Cleanio”, “Application”, “App”, “Services”) provided by Technograde Yazılım Teknoloji ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Cleanio, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cleanio. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App. By using Cleanio, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use Cleanio on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

This license does not allow you to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense any part of the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Use the App to develop a competing product or service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, our servers, or related systems

4. Description of Services

Cleanio is a photo and video management application that helps you organize and free up storage on your device. Features include, but are not limited to:

  • Detection of duplicate and similar photos
  • Identification of large videos and screenshots
  • Smart Clean and Advanced Clean for batch cleanup
  • Face Detection for grouping photos by people (processed entirely on your device)
  • Swipe-based photo review and deletion

All photo and video processing is performed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to your media.

The features, content, and availability of the App may change from time to time.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

5.1 Cleanio Premium

Cleanio offers an optional paid subscription (“Cleanio Premium”) that unlocks additional features and removes advertisements. Subscription options, prices, and billing periods are presented within the App at the time of purchase. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

5.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

5.3 Managing and Cancelling Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:

Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Premium features until that time.

5.4 Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, you must cancel before the trial period ends to avoid being charged. Unused portions of a free trial will be forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.

5.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. The Company does not directly process refunds.

5.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we change the price of an existing subscription, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

6. Advertisements

Cleanio displays advertisements to users who have not subscribed to Cleanio Premium. These may include interstitial ads, app open ads, and rewarded ads. Certain features within the App may be unlocked by watching a rewarded advertisement. The features available through rewarded advertisements may change from time to time depending on app functionality, availability, and business requirements.

Advertisements are served by third-party advertising partners and may link to third-party websites or apps. The Company is not responsible for the content of these advertisements or the practices of advertisers.

By using the free version of the App, you agree to view advertisements as part of the Services.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or its servers
  • Attempt to bypass any security or access controls
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the App
  • Use the App to process or store any content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to process
  • Engage in any conduct that could harm the App, other users, or the Company

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all software, designs, logos, text, graphics, images, and content (excluding user content), are and remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features.

You retain all rights to your own photos, videos, and other content on your device. We do not claim any ownership of your content.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services (including but not limited to Google Mobile Ads, Firebase, AppsFlyer, Adapty, and Google ML Kit) to provide certain features. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. The Company is not responsible for the practices, content, or performance of third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App will meet your specific requirements
  • The duplicate detection, similar photo detection, or face detection features will be 100% accurate

You are solely responsible for backing up your photos and videos before using cleanup features. Once a photo or video is deleted from your device, the Company cannot recover it. We strongly recommend reviewing items before deletion and maintaining backups (e.g., via iCloud Photos).

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PHOTOS OR VIDEOS, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED USD (USD $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App will end immediately, and you must stop using the App and delete it from your devices.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

14. Apple App Store Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the Company, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service, the Apple terms will govern with respect to your use of the App through the App Store.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right to enforce them against you.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and provide notice through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the intent of the original.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
